Disconnect from your everyday cares, and spend the day healing and rejuvenating in nature! Join us for a meditation hike followed by a 45 minute yoga class in the heart of the beautiful Bohemia Ecological Preserve. We’ll focus on being present in the moment and taking advantage of all the healing powers that nature has to offer us. A vegan snack and tea will be served following the yoga class after we hike back to Hut Hill.
The hike will be led by Bohemia Docent and local nature enthusiast and photographer, Kate Williams. Her mission is to share her love of the land with others through hiking, meditation, and breathing techniques.The Yoga class will be taught by Annabele Grace. Trained in the Integrative Yoga Therapy tradition, her approach utilizes pranayama, mudra and asana to facilitate balance at the physical, energetic, psycho-emotional, intuitive and spiritual levels. She seeks to provide compassionate instruction that encourages students to discover their own unique experience of yoga in inspiring, enjoyable, safe and easily accessible ways for all who walk into her class.
Cost: $25/per person. 25% of the proceeds of this event support LandPaths’ work in Nature.
