Come spend a wonderful afternoon cooking under pressure with Jill. This class is hands-on. You will sample everything that is cooked.
Come learn how to choose and use a pressure cooker. Jill will discuss what to look for in both stove top and electronic pressure cookers. You will get experience using them to produce different parts of a meal in this plant-based cooking class.
You’ll receive cooking charts for whole grains, beans, vegetables and recipes for at least 5 different dishes that you will prepare in class; dishes such as Vegetable Broth, Wild Mushroom Risotto, Winter Vegetable Stew with Olives and Artichokes, Whole Potatoes with Winter Squash and Black Rice, Lentil and Mushroom Topping, Cashew Cheezecake and more.
You will learn how to cook at both high and low pressure, how to steam, how to reheat food and how to determine which type of pressure release to use.
